Flowers (continued)
I graduated to daisies, tulips, daffodils and other wild flowers...all plentiful on the earth. Then later, roses, lilies and more exotic beauties stimulated my nose and brought additional pleasure to my eyes.
Artfully mixing and arranging flowers can add great beauty to a garden. The mix of bold and pale colors, the blended scents and perfect imperfection of shapes, create a banquet for the senses and a reminder of all the beauty in the world. Tending the garden is important. Weeds, rodents and other destructive forces can create havoc. Water, fertilizer, irrigation, commitment and care can restore it.
People are like flowers. Each brings a perspective and uniquesness that adds to the whole. Our diversity creates a collective beauty. We handle destructive forces. Commitment and care restores us. Our different shapes, colors, scents, views and opinions create a perfectly imperfect garden and a stimulating classroom for learning and engagement.
The takeaway…
The value we gain from each other enhances our ability to broaden our perspectives. See the beauty in differences. Be
Bold.
